Christian residential treatment centers

Sin has been crawling in this world since Eve gave Adam the fruit from the tree of knowledge. Some of us believe in God and some don’t. And some of those who believe in God sometimes forget that there is a God. That’s when we start to sin. We have been given Ten Commandments by God and we should respect His law and only live by that law and nothing else. But time comes when worldly things or situation takes the best of us which makes us disobey God’s law.

For instance, there was nothing written or said about something that says that drinking alcoholic beverages or using drugs is against God’s will. But, it was said in the bible that our body is the temple of Christ. So basically, substance abuse is harmful to the body and that means we are destroying God’s temple which concludes that we are doing something against the Lord. That is an example that emphasizes that not just because it is not in God’s word, doesn’t mean it is not wrong.Justify Full

This example also deliberates the fact that some people use God’s word in the wrong way. It has come to my attention that some people, especially drug addicts from inside or outside drug rehab, say that God have clearly stated to “Love your enemies.” And the fact that an illegal drug is one of the many sources of problem that causes havoc in our society makes it an enemy of the public. So with this thought in mind the statement which I quote “I hate drugs. But God said love your enemies, so I will love drugs” has been stated.

In Christian residential treatment centers, the patients will be lectured on what drugs and other harmful substances have caused them and the people around them in order for them to rethink what they have done and contemplate on the fact that they have caused trouble not only on their part but also to others.
